Architect of Dreams

On my way to my internship, every single day, I passed a massive blackboard with bold white letters that read "BOLLYWOOD." That sign became a symbol for something I didn't know I craved until then. It stirred something deep inside me, and I realized architecture wasn't my true passion.

One day, I went home and told my father, "I want to become an actor." At first, he was reluctant. He reminded me, "This doesn’t happen in our family." But I was determined. I couldn’t let go of that feeling. Eventually, he saw how serious I was about my dreams, and after much thought, he agreed. Not only did he support me, but he even came to Mumbai with me to drop me off, marking the beginning of my new life.

In those early days, I spent my time learning singing and eventually transitioned into acting. The journey wasn’t always smooth, but I never viewed the struggles as obstacles. Instead, I saw them as stepping stones, each hardship teaching me something valuable about life and myself.

In 2019, I was cast in a serial titled Shine, which was slated to air on Sahara One and Woo Woo channels. Unfortunately, the show never saw the light of day due to the channel shutting down. Sahara One also closed its doors, leaving the project in limbo. I also participated in a reality show, but due to certain issues, it never aired. Though these setbacks were disheartening, I kept pushing forward. Soon after, I landed a small role in Manyata, a Gujarati series on Colors Gujarati. It was a brief appearance, just 10–15 days, but it was enough to leave an impression. My performance garnered praise, and soon Colors offered me a more substantial role in *United States of Gujarat*, a show that I am currently working on.

My character in 'United States of Gujarat' is someone entirely different from who I am in real life, but that contrast is what I enjoy most about acting—the chance to step into someone else’s shoes, however different they may be from your own.

One of the people who has had the biggest impact on me is my co-actor, Ragini Shah. She is truly an inspiration. Watching her dedication—learning her lines at home, always coming to set prepared, and her boundless energy—has fueled my own aspirations. I hope to become just like her one day.

Through all this, my biggest pillar of strength has been my father. He has supported me at every step, no matter what we faced. We’ve been through tough times together, from living in a small house where the roof leaked during the monsoons, to him carrying me to school in his arms. Before his business took off, his salary was meager, but through God’s grace, things gradually turned around for us.

In 2022, I achieved another milestone when I was named Miss Nexor India Runner-Up in a Delhi-based competition. It was a proud moment, but for me, it was just another step toward my bigger dreams.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to work in films and movies, particularly in lead roles. My spiritual connection with Krishna and Shiv Ji guides me through life, and I trust that with their blessings, my journey will unfold the way it's meant to. For now, my focus is on the Gujarati series I’m working on, while also trying my hand in Hindi daily soaps. I’ve come a long way, and I truly hope that after this, I’ll land a role in a Hindi daily soap—another dream waiting to be fulfilled.
