The Rise of a Self-Made Emcee
I come from a small town where dreams are often considered too big to chase—especially when you don’t have the money, resources, or background to back them up. But even as a little boy, I kept dreaming with my eyes wide open. I didn't know how or when, but I was sure that someday, I would shine.
Life, however, had its own plans. I lost my father early on, and that loss shook the very foundation of our family. My mother, the strongest woman I know, took it upon herself to support our education and keep our household running—sacrificing her comfort so that we could have a future. Watching her work so hard lit something in me. I couldn’t just sit and dream anymore—I had to work for those dreams.
As I grew older, I started juggling multiple part-time jobs. I taught students, worked as a garment salesman, and found joy in dance, taking up choreography gigs whenever I could. The stage always fascinated me—not for the fame or applause, but for the way it let me express myself fully. But never did I imagine that one day, I’d hold a mic and call it my career.
My turning point came unexpectedly. A cousin’s wedding needed a last-minute anchor, and someone suggested I give it a shot. With a little guidance from a professional anchor in the family, I stood before the crowd—and something inside me clicked. That one opportunity turned into many more—birthday parties, brand activations, local events—and slowly, anchoring went from being a side hustle to my passion, and eventually, my profession.
But the road wasn’t smooth.
I battled with constant self-doubt, fear, and overthinking. I’d ask myself, “Is this the right path? Can I survive in an industry filled with trained professionals?” I had no formal education in anchoring, no technical know-how. All I had was a mic, a burning desire to connect with people, and a heart that refused to quit.
I still remember those early days when technical experts would comment, “He’s not anchor material,” or “His style lacks polish.” Those words hurt. They made me question everything. But somewhere deep inside, a quiet voice reminded me: God has His own plans for you. Keep going. And I did.
Through the years, I worked harder, kept evolving, and never stopped believing in myself. It’s been over six years now since I started anchoring professionally. I've had the honour to host events all over India, entertain families, bring smiles to strangers, and be part of countless unforgettable moments.
Twice, I’ve been nominated among the Top 10 Youngest Anchors in India, and today, I feel proud to be counted among the Top 10 shortlisted emcees globally. Soon, I’ll be stepping onto international stages—taking the mic overseas, just like I once dreamed, with grace, hard work, and my parents’ blessings.
Every time I stand under those lights, I remember where I started—from a boy with nothing but dreams, to a man who now lives them. My goal ahead is not just to be a successful emcee, but to become a global brand, a name that stands for energy, heart, and connection. I want to build a space in people’s hearts—and inspire aspiring artists and emcees to believe that if I can make it, so can they.
Because the truth is—no matter where you start, if you believe in yourself and refuse to give up, you’ll find your spotlight. I did. And this is just the beginning.
