The Emcee Behind India’s Biggest Events

From as early as I can remember, I was drawn to anything that allowed me to express myself—music, sports, performing arts, even academics. Creativity wasn’t just a hobby; it was my language. And somewhere between school cultural events and family gatherings, I found my first audience. What began as innocent performances soon evolved into a deeper calling: the desire to connect, engage, and leave a lasting impact.

The entertainment world always had this magnetic pull. For me, it wasn’t just about being on stage—it was about creating a moment, a memory. So, when the time came, I packed my dreams and moved from Mangalore to chase a career that had no manual, no mentor, and definitely no guarantees.

Breaking into the industry was far from glamorous. Starting out in a new city meant beginning from scratch. I had no roadmap—just a heart full of ambition and a will that refused to quit. With every free moment, I immersed myself in learning. I watched Ellen DeGeneres not just to laugh, but to study. I dissected how hosts engaged with audiences on TV. I paid attention to every gesture, pause, and punchline. I wasn’t just dreaming—I was preparing.

The gigs were few and far between at first. But I treated each one like a stage at Madison Square Garden. Slowly, the word spread. Clients became friends. Friends became promoters. And referrals started trickling in. What I lacked in connections, I made up for in consistency and professionalism. Every challenge became a lesson, every stumble a story worth telling.

Along the way, I wore many hats. I worked with event companies and media agencies as a content writer and PR professional—experiences that taught me the power of storytelling and how to read a room even before stepping on stage. I learned to adapt, to anticipate, and to connect on a human level. Those skills would later become the backbone of my emceeing style.

But perhaps the most profound learning came from the people I met along the way. Industry veterans who pulled me aside for a quick tip. Event organizers who threw me into the deep end with tough crowds. Fellow emcees who shared their own growing pains. Every conversation became a classroom. Every stage, a rehearsal for the next big break.

And the big breaks did come.

I’ve had the privilege of sharing the spotlight with legends like Anil Kumble and performing alongside prominent stars from both Tollywood and Bollywood. I’ve hosted events graced by politicians, dignitaries, and IT industry giants. My efforts were recognized with the Kala Ratna Award—a moment that validated years of sweat, doubt, and hustle.

But recognition isn’t the destination—it’s fuel for the next chapter.

Today, as I stand before audiences at corporate events, weddings, and international shows, I carry with me every lesson, every stumble, every standing ovation. The stage is ever-evolving—sometimes virtual, sometimes in front of thousands—but the mission remains the same: to captivate, connect, and create unforgettable experiences.

The journey is far from over. In fact, it feels like the show has only just begun.
