Five years ago, what began as a casual introduction through a mutual friend blossomed into something extraordinary — a shared dream that would take two aspiring artists from college campuses to some of the most happening venues in Bangalore. This is not just a story of beats, bass drops, and booming speakers. This is the story of two individuals who dared to dream differently — and never gave up.

Our journey into the world of DJing and music production was born out of pure passion. Back then, we were just two dreamers, united by our obsession with music and the burning desire to create something of our own. The first real step came when we found House of EDM Music School, a place that didn’t just teach music — it opened doors. Under the guidance of Ajay Jade, a visionary DJ and producer, we learned the ropes, sharpened our skills, and slowly stepped into the professional world of music.

But dreams, we soon learned, come with a price.

The early days were tough. Gigs were rare, and when they did come, payment rarely followed. We met an event organizer during college who promised exposure and fair pay through college and noon-party events. The exposure came — the pay didn’t. For nearly two years, we played for free, driven only by hope and the promise of “someday.”

And then, someday happened.

That break came at Kitty Ko – Lalit Ashok. The response was electric, the vibe unmatched. It wasn’t just a performance — it was a statement. That night opened doors into the nightlife scene and gave us a chance to connect with the industry’s movers and shakers. But nightlife brought with it new challenges: politics, favoritism, and the pressure to prove ourselves — again and again.

Behind the curtain of clubs and lights, there was another battle brewing — one at home. Our families, like many others, held traditional expectations. Stability. Security. A "real" job. They didn’t see the all-nighters, the rehearsals, or the relentless grind. To them, DJing was a phase. A hobby. Something we’d eventually “grow out of.”

But we didn’t. We grew into it.

Balancing college assignments with late-night sets and zero sleep wasn’t easy. There were times we questioned ourselves. Technical glitches during live sets, financial pressure, rejections, and performances that just didn’t hit the mark — it all took its toll. But every fall became a lesson. Every failure pushed us to work harder.

The game changed when 21st Amendment in Indiranagar opened its doors to us. After a few meetings with the owners, we were brought on as resident DJs — a milestone that helped us step into our own. From there, it was a slow but steady climb. We started playing at premium venues across Bangalore, building connections with top DJs and event promoters, and finally began to feel the rhythm of success.

In 2024, we played at the Under 25 Summit, an experience that was as electrifying as it was humbling. We released mashup packs and remixes that found their way to fans and listeners far beyond our initial reach. Sharing the stage with artists like Ritviz and MC Stan wasn’t just a dream come true — it was a validation of every sleepless night and every unpaid gig.

Today, our eyes are set on new horizons. We dream of performing on the main stage of Tomorrowland, of creating music that echoes across continents. We want to be among the world’s top 10 music producers, to travel the globe on an international tour, and ultimately, to launch our own record label — a platform for the next generation of dreamers like us.

Looking back, we know the road wasn’t easy. But the music, the fire, and the belief that we were made for this kept us going. Every challenge was a beat in our story, every setback a pause before the drop.

And now? The drop is coming.

We’re just getting started — and the best is yet to come.
