Decks, Dreams, and Determination
In my second year of college, fate introduced me to the art of DJing through a school junior. What started as mere curiosity soon became my passion. I still remember the electrifying moment when I performed at my college fest for the first time. The sight of 2,000 people dancing to my beats filled me with an indescribable joy. That was the moment of realization—DJing was my true calling, and I decided to pursue it as a career.
However, life had other plans. The pandemic struck, and everything came to a standstill. Events were canceled, and opportunities vanished overnight. But I refused to let my dreams fade away. To earn a living, I took on multiple jobs—providing door-to-door computer services, delivering food, and even working as a bike taxi. Despite these challenges, my love for music never wavered. During the lockdown, I turned to Instagram live sessions to keep the energy alive, engaging audiences from their homes. Later, I collaborated with a friend's YouTube channel and, at one point, even considered stepping away from DJing.
My journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but I am grateful for those who stood by me. One person who truly made a difference in my life is Debajit Sir, whose words of encouragement kept me going when I needed it most. Through this experience, I have learned that it doesn't matter where you come from, how much money you have, or the crisis you are facing. If you have the drive and passion, you will find a way to succeed—no excuses.
Today, my goal is to keep pushing the boundaries of DJing by experimenting with fresh sounds, curating high-energy experiences, and expanding my presence at major music festivals and clubs across India and beyond. My dedication has been recognized through numerous awards and achievements, including securing the winning position at IIT Bombay & IIT Kanpur’s War of DJs and winning multiple War of DJs competitions at top Bangalore college fests.
