A Journey from Streets to Studio

Since the rise of the internet, the world felt like it got smaller—cultures, sounds, and stories became so easily accessible. For someone like me growing up in Bangalore, that meant being introduced to global sounds early on. I grew up vibing hard to Usher, Chris Brown, and some of the best R&B artists out there. That music spoke to me—it felt real. But somewhere down the line, while those influences stayed, I stuck to my roots. I didn’t change my game; I just fine-tuned it.

From a young age, I realized I had a gift for writing—songs, poems, raw thoughts that could transform into rhythm. It came naturally, but sounding like I do today? That took years of practice, hustle, and relentless effort. I've kept polishing, experimenting, and finding my unique space. I may not sound South Indian when I rap, but trust me—everything about me is. I’m half Tamilian, half Mallu, and fully Bangalorean. And if my music has a kink or a twist, it's because each song carries a slice of my journey.

Growing up, my parents were supportive—though I’ll admit, they were pretty skeptical of what a “rapper lifestyle” even meant. But they trusted me. That trust turned into belief, and belief into support. Life hasn’t always been easy. We’ve had our share of ups and downs—and some of those downs were because of my choices (haha, I’ll own that). But 2012 was the toughest year. We lost my baby sister to hemorrhagic dengue. That pain changed something in us. But with God’s grace, and as a family, we held on. We made it through.

I was never the easiest kid to raise. I was misunderstood, a bit rebellious, but my parents never let go of me. They didn’t always get me, but they always had my back. That unwavering presence gave me the fuel to chase my dreams.

Over the years, I built a solid crew, and together, we’ve performed all over Bangalore. But since the pandemic hit, I stepped back from the stage to dive deep into the music itself. I’ve been grinding in silence, preparing for the next chapter. With my parents’ support, I built my own studio—FROZEN RECORDS—which is going live this year. That’s not just a milestone; it’s a dream turned reality. And I thank God and my family for walking every step with me.

Let’s be honest—being a musician today is not for the faint-hearted. You stay broke longer than you'd like, investing everything you’ve got into yourself with no guarantees. I’m a little old-school in my heart, but I’m learning the new-school ropes too. These days, you’ve got to play every role: writer, editor, director, content creator... the whole deal. But me? I’ve kept my focus where it belongs—writing music and chasing flow patterns the world hasn’t heard yet. Words have their own swagger, and rap, for me, is more than just rhythm—it’s emotion. In India today, rap is both a feeling and a product. But no matter how commercial it gets, once you're on this path, you don’t turn back. You fall, you bleed, you rise—and then you go harder.

Along the way, I’ve picked up a few achievements that I carry with pride. I’m a state long jump gold medalist—5.55 meters, to be exact—and I’ve performed in multiple cities across South India. I’ve already built a partnership with my dad and his business, but I’ve got my own ventures too. Slowly but surely, I’ve been building a team—a tribe that believes in the same dream.

My goal? To create my own record label. Yeah, I know, it sounds huge—maybe even insane. But dreams should be loud, shouldn’t they? I’m building Frowst Productions and Frozen Records into more than just names. They’re extensions of me. Every beat, every lyric, every drop I create or sell—it’s all a piece of my soul.

I’m proud to share that my studio is ready, built brick by brick with my father’s help, and it’s going live this year. But that’s not all—music is just one of the hats I wear. I’m also a full-time entrepreneur, and soon, I’m launching a couple of food ventures. Something new, something fresh—and I can’t wait to share that journey with y’all.
